So you are new to sailing and you dont know what you dont know. This is a good place to start. Beginner sailing course is ideal for those wishing to experience sailing in safe and relaxed enviroment and feel a fragment of beauty and excitment offerd by sailing under the sails.
NEWLY ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Basics of sailing,
- trimming the sails according to the wind,
- maneuvering, tacks and gybs,
- knot practise,
- anchoring,
- maneuvering in the marina,
- side and stern mooring,
- navigation
- understanding maritime regulations,
- route planning based on weather conditions,
- man overboard rescue.
Programme
1st Day
- Review of theoretical knowledge,
- principles and basics of sailing,
- familiarization with the vessel and all equipment,
- sailing with the wind, into the wind, and maneuvers,
- raising and lowering sails,
- use of electronic instruments
2nd Day
- Maneuvers and procedures for departure,
- side docking, stern docking,
- anchoring, buoy maneuvers,
- safety on board,
- basic navigation principles
